Default a6 2.7turbo - will staggard wheel fitment work?

19"x8.5" in the front and 19"x9.5" in the rear, assumming I could find tires that were a perfect match in height...

Default The same thing was asked earlier today. Look down.

The most important thing is that the outside diameter of the tires be identical -- otherwise you can burn up your quattro.

The answers won't change if you post the same question again...

Default Well, since I did not answer the ORIGINAL POST with this exact question, here is my two cents...

I saw this done artfully on nene's RS6 (albeit with 19" VERY expensive wheels). I think the tires on the back were something crazy wide and it looked great. However, I am not sure about the match between the rolling diamter of the front and the rear tires. They should be IDENTICAL for quattro, or there will be prblems down the road.

That being said, assuming that you had tires that matched exactly in rolling diameter, then I suppose there is no issue here.

The only question that remains is "why?" As others have pointed out, there is no performance gain for staggered wheels...simply appearance?
