This happened today!! (I wasn't driving.) I read all of the earlier posts about the A6's susceptibility to have the front bumper sheared off upon trying to back off of the curb. Since it's Sunday, I haven't had it looked at. My question is, does anyone know how expensive this will be to fix? Also, if anyone's had this happen, did your insurance cover it? Thanks.

If you're referring to the fairing under the front end, haven't done it on my A6, but did it on my S6 a couple months ago. It pulled out of the clips holding it on. Replacing the clips and putting the bumper back in place was $94.81 (no damage was done to the bumper). The shop said this was common for Audis and can be more expensive if more is damaged than just the retaining clips.

Wife caught mine on a curb and it tore the bumper cover - $700 repair. OUCH!
