A6 vs. Jersey whitetail
Driving my daughter home late last night, I came in close contact with one of our "rats with hooves": a whitetail deer.
The deer is dead, dead, dead.
The A6? One broken headlight bracket. And one small dent in the hood. You wouldn't even know anything happened unless you looked real close.
Folks, I own a VW Jetta, a Mercedes 300e and the A6. And after last night, I swear I will never drive anything but German cars again.

That's why my 16-year-old is getting my '99 A6Avant. Solid as a rock, 3800#, quattro for wet-weather stability, 6 airbags (God forbid they ever be needed), ABS. And not as fast as a Taurus or an Accord.
Tomorrow AM, Jim Ellis Audi is going to detail my off-lease '99 A8, and I'll pick it up at noon (they did the Audi Assured inspection today, and fixed a couple of things). I get a "new" A8, and he gets a tank!
BTW, that first para is how I got WAF for the A8. ;-)

Will you drive around my neighborhood?
Sent one skyward in my wife's Volvo (I'd rather hit 'em with her tank than mine) about a year ago. I have to dodge the damn critters in my neighborhood (border of Somerset & Hunterdon Ctys.) every morning and evening. Me 'n the neighbors will pay you by the kill. :-D
