Default Nothing does as much as a VAG-COM does

So I guess you get what you pay for...

Default You can built one yourself for less then $71. They are selling a $71 cable in fact.

you may save like 20 bucks if you build it your self thow.

Default Actually, it does EVERYTHING a VAG-COM does - it uses the same software.

You get the shareware version for your $70 or the full version for $99 more.

Correct. But not worth the time & effort for the small savings.

Default You learn something every day...I stand corrected.

I'm impressed that someone else came out with a cable that works the same way the ROSS-TECH's works. And with their software down loading for free, and all but a minimum of high lever finctions not working...it is a bargain for the $71+. Granted you don;t get ROSS TECH's great support.. or their great guy Andy helping wyou when you have a problem.. but then again 299 V 70... pretty good.
