Accident - need body shop etc.
For those of you who read my post about changing the tire:
Incidentally, the tire was the least of my problems, it turns out. Have to get insurance involved. Was a little too sprited with my driving and pushed it to understeer... hit a curb pretty hard and popped the tire. The worse part though, is that something structural seems to be awry - the passenger side wheel is shifted back an inch or two (or three) and rubs the wheel well.. terrible news. I'm not familiar with the suspension - but seems like some kind of broken control arm type deal to me... ugh.... chipped a wheel too... at least I have an excuse to buy some 17 or 18" rims now... but I can't wait to find out what is amiss structurally.... can't bring it into the shop until I get the adjuster out here.. will be 2-3 DAYS! Should I push for it to go to Audi for work like this/bodyshop work, or are any independent shops ever very good or better?

Re: Sorry to hear about your misfortune. What exactly were you driving? 2.7 T or 4.2? ESP? Quattr
Castrated 2.7T (turbos non-functional while warranty fight continues with Audi) - quattro of course.
