Default Adding coolant after the T joint near the expansion tank breaks...

What all is required to properly add coolant to the system after the T joint near the expansion tank breaks? All the coolant in the expansion tank leaked out as well as the coolant in the nearby hoses.

Is it OK to just add coolant or do I need to bleed the whole system? Is there some sort of special procedure that will minimise the amount of air that gets into the system?

Any tips/tricks would be appreciated.

Just add coolant. I doubt any air got into the block or heater core.
