Default After looking at the bumper damage.....

...from where I got whacked the other day, it seems that all the outside bumper damage is superficial and limited to scratches to the grey part below the actual bumper cover (of course, it is one piece, so the wholw bumper cover need replacement). I'm not sure if there is any internal damage - I know the parktronic doesn't work....

If the damage to the bumper is merely cosmetic, has anyone painted the lower part to match the body color? I hate to have them order/paint/install the whole bumper if one can get by with painting the valance.

Anybody up to photoshopping the grey part silver?

Thanks

Default Dont do the grey part silver, do it black...

Mines charcoal grey and needs to be painted, again.

Its either that or go for the RS 6 rear end.

Silver makes the car look like a blob at the bottom IMHO.

Thanks again for the email.

Oh, and, I cant see any damage in that pic CEB, you should see my rear bumper

Default The only visible damage is...

...a couple of scratches on that grey section. the annoying part is that the parktronic screetches....

It must have jarred something loose (or broke something inside)..........
