Alcohol like smell when it rains in my '02 4.2...
rained like Hell in New York today. Seems like every time it rains, the inside of the car smells like alcohol or something similar. Not the wiper fluid because don't use 'em in the rain! Any ideas?

It could still be wiper fluid... only alcohol smell around. Mine would happen now and then.
Perhaps the pump assembly is squeezing out a little fluid when it gets colder, and the plastic shrinks, making volume less.
I also have a spray bottle of alcohol-based window cleaner in the trunk, which would dribble a drop now and then if I didn't keep the nozzle tip screwed tightly closed. Smelled very strong.
