Default All weather mats: anyone elses falling apart?

Mine are the OEM ones, I think...the one's from Clair Parts that were ~$100 for all four.
Anyway, noticed this this morning...it's right where my right foot plants as I climb out of the car. Time for a diet? :P

Looks normal, albeit dirty, at a glance...

...but a closer look...

...not 1 but several rips...

I got them December of '04 and have had them in the whole time. I wonder if they're CPO'd. :P

Anyone know if they sell the driver's mat separately? I'm not buying another set of 4 for just the one. :/

Default Stop wearing those stilettos!

j/k - Mine only show wear where my right heel sits while driving. No tears yet, but the rubber shows some wear.

I'd say with the manual tranny, your heel-toe action is a bit more frequent, and probably giving the mat a workout.

Default Oh thstop it, you!

Naa, heels rest on the flat portion (see clean/polished areas)...it's def from climbing out, I use my right foot to push out and I plant it right on the torn parts. Ce la vie. :P
