- particular features I should look for, e.g. ESP was optional? was HID light standard? (these were standard on my TT and S4)
- and was immobilizer security standard?
- what were the common upgrade packages that you like?
- any common reliability or wear issues or worries?
- is the rear storage identical in footprint as the allroad?
- how is the suspension on rough potholed city roads?
- in hindsight would you get something else?

better leather, better seats, more features (like memomory pass seat).

Look for packages like cold, luxury, convenience for xenons I think.

02 has the immobilizer....

my 02 avant has been excellent.

has a wopping 14,600 miles on it and is perfekt.

Things to watch:

early wear out on rotors and pads (vibration).

if you buy one, get the oil changed ASAP a few times to a good synthetic like M1 0W-40 or Syntec 0W-30.
