Is anyone else concerned about this too??
The exhaust of my A6 Avant is turned downwards at the tip. Is this not bad?
We had some very bad rain this weekend and I went through some very very deep puddles. I wished my pipes were not turned downwards picking this water up.
However, I would like to get the rear of the Allroad anyways...they are straight out and chrome tipped....on both sides. I'ma gonna post pixs soon....just put my 17"s on

As long as you engine was running, you should not have picked up any water......
But if the water you were driving through was that deep, you might want to check your differential fluids. Differentials usually have breathers, but I am not sure about Audi.

Stu B's comments are right on. I remember a long time ago when streets off the
FDR Drive would flood (they still do) and I was afraid my car I then had would stall. I would accelerate somewhat to keep the engine running and revving a little higher for more pressure in the exhaust and I would ride the brake with my left foot to keep the car from going too fast. Besides Stu B's comments about the differentials, you should have no problem.
