Currently running 245 D5000's and finally decided not to move up to 18's this summer, the roads here are too brutal. So I am itching to get my summer treads / rims and curious on the larger tires and perhaps a rim with a different offset.

I recall some discussion of a 255 coming on the PST setup but haven't seen anything on that recently. Given the tight clearance I would think an offset change would be nessesary.

Any thoughts would be appreciated -

I was bombing around the midcoast region on Monday afternoon wondering how anybody could live with the 18s up here... Man some of those roads were in horrible shape with the melting/freezing going on.

I'm thinking BBS RC 17x8.

You may need a 17x8.5 to go 255 though...

How's the car treating you ?

Certainly agree on the roads this season - came thru Lewiston on the way back from the loaf this weekend - brutal..

Think you're right on needing at least an 8 inch - not sure what the offset will need to be tho'

Car goes in tomorrow for new radio/ rotors and possible new rear spoiler - cracked and mounted wrong....
