Default anyone have clutch issues with chipped ecu's?

about to go with apr and was wondering if my stock clutch will be able to handle it

If you abuse the clutch, chip or no chip, then the clutch will have to be replaced. It is easier to abuse the clutch if you have a chip, but the chip doesn't abuse the clutch, the driver does.

Default I disagree, as torque increases so does the stress and wear on the clutch. I think in this case

he'll will be fine as the stock clutch is not bad. Too say there is no realation ship is incorrect IMO. It's not simply a matter of abuse.

Default No, I didn't. Thought I did.

I did learn that launching a near 400lb torque car with Quattro by side-stepping the clutch at 3000 RPM is NOT good.
