That is the tap I used for the fog mod, but only 6.79 at AutoZone

Just want to make sure I get this correct. I just buy 2 right angle fuse taps and connect them together with a splice connecter, then insert 2 - 10 amp fuses into each tap then plug one end of the tap into position 27 (inverted) and the other end into 36. I assume the car should be off. Is it this simple or am I missing something.
