Anyone have pics of lowered stock 2.7T w/ sport pkg?
I have a stock 2001 2.7T on which I'd like to change out the stock springs for either the Audi direct replacements or Eibachs. I am looking to lower it no more than 1"-1.25" or so and want to compromise the stock ride as little as possible. I would also like to bump up to 17" or 18" wheels at some point, but wanted to do the springs first. I searched and couldn't find anything stock that had been lowered. Anything would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks - Mike

I think that you can find what you're looking for by seeing a 2002 2.7T with the "stock" sport pkg suspension & 17" wheels, like mine. Unfortunately, no digicam so no pics to show you but your dealer may have one to look at.
I think that Audi now sells the springs from the '02 sport pkg thru their own parts dept. so you can achieve the same look & amt of lowering.

YES! Sorry if I was unclear...
That's what I'm looing for. I have an '01 2.7T w/ sport package and wanted to get an idea if the 16" wheels took on any additional character from the car being lowered.

Here's mine with the OEM Sport Suspension and 17" wheels-->

The ride with the Sport Suspension is a great compromise between firmness and ride quality. From a performance stand point you may want to do the 17" wheels first, rear sway bar second and then the springs and shocks.

Wow! Nice ride...
I DO like those R38s on your car - very tasteful. And I also dig those smoked taillights...where did you get those and what did they set you back? Finally, tell me more about the rear swaybar? Why? Where? How much? Benefits?
Thanks for the post.

Question
I am also considering upgrading my stock '01 2.7T, but I was going to start with the rear sway bar. Is it a valid concern about putting too much stress on the other suspension points by just adding the meatier sway?

Thanks! Got the Tail lights and side markers from PUMA-->
I think the tail lights were $245 and the side marders $35. I've had the sport suspension since day one so can't comment on the sway bar allone, but from post over the last few months it appears that upgrading to 17" wheels makes the most improvement in handling with the rear anti sway bar from the sport suspension running a close second. From what I remember the bar and bushings are under $100 and then about the same to install. You can do a search and perhaps get more detail.

http://www.puma-access.com/</a
