Default Anyone here know how to remove the A/C vent to the left of the instrument cluster?

I'm referring to the metal trim around the rectangular vent between the instrument cluster and the driver's door. I have a tiny rattle that sounds like it's coming from the vent and would like to try to track it down. Thanks.

Why don't you let the dealership do it? That's what warranties are for.

Default Pull!

Thats what I had to do for the rear vents (when I was swapping to the Carbon trim om the e-brake center counsole section).

I would suggest getting some blue tape or eletrical tape and wraping that tape around a thin small watch size flat head screw driver so you can pry away at the corner without scratching anything up. Thats what I did anyway, but who knows, the front vents might be held on differently, although I doubt it (most everything in this car pops out with pulling or little retractable clips).

The rear vent had tension clips held the entire vent housing in place. Once pryed out a little, I just pulled (with little force) by hand and out it poped.

Who has the exploded diagram?

Sounds like good advice, except if Mike breaks or scratches something he's SOL.

Default After further consideration, I think that's exactly what I'll do.

Otherwise, I'm certain to break something. Thanks to all for your tips, though.
