I'm assuming you've checked at Ross-tech.. some of the older VAG COM ODBII's do not support

all Audis...The exception are Audi's that require dual K-line communication which include B6/8E chassis A4's with Xenon headlights and 2002 and newer A6 models, including the Allroad.) If you're ok with picking up a new one go to www.ross-tech.com.

I don't believe you can transfer Vag-com software. Not even to another computer you own.

You can - you just need to call them, for another license key

I am selling my A6, so VAG-COM could be available real soon

Here's how it would work... I deactivate my copy and send the deactivation code to Ross-tech. Then they issue you a new activation code when you install it on your computer. I had to move it from one computer to the other a while back and that's how it worked.
