Default Anyone using Royal Purple Synthetic engine lubricant?

It appears to me that most owners here are using Mobile 1 synthetic lubricant and are satisfied with their results. However, I have made aware of a product that a friend of mine who is a Porsche mechanic swears by...and it is Royal Purple Synthetic. He claims that this product has no equal. But I do believe they are more costly the Mobile 1 product. I would forgo the expense if the quality of the product meets up to claims or expectations. Any comments?

Here's a link to their site:

Default There are several S4ers who have tried it and have given it the thumbs-up.

I'm thinking about trying it at my next oil change as well. RP isn't all that much more expensive per quart than Mobil 1. Carparts.com sells cases of Royal Purple for $56.44, which comes out to about $4.70 a quart. Mobil 1 is usually around $4.30 at my local Wal-Mart.
