Hi guys, I have Audi A6 C5 Avant 2.7t Stage 3 , with cca 500ps. Still have problem with too rich, stft is cca -9% and ltft cca -7%. I know that previous owner use I think wrong MAF senzor from 1.8t (maybe standard?), there was max. 200g/s and stft was -25% and now Im using MAF senzor from RS6 C5 (F00C 2G2 049), where is max cca 280g/s and stft/ltft like in above in the beginning. Still not enough for 500ps. MAF body has 83mm ID. Pipes were testing by smoke, everything looks quite good, so I mean that correct MAF senzor would solve rich mixture. I dont know if use rs6 c5 maf senzor is ok, cause thats just like for 3 stroke engine.

I am on no way an expert on this, but I do know that the characteristics of the MAF sensor is part of the ECU code. The code is responsible for trimming fuel based on the air intake as detected via the MAF. I would take the car to the person who provided the code for your car, or find someone who can line it up.

Yes,thats correct,you're right.My car was already tuned, scaled for bigger maf, mass air flow,but Im not sure which type of maf senzor was mounted when was my car tuned for 500hp.It was said to me,that it was with rs6 maf senzor,but Im not sure,cause rs6 is v-engine and has two maf's so one maf is for 3 cylinder. When I bought car it was there 1.8t maf senzor just for max.200g/s,now I can catch 280g/s which is still low,cause car has 500hp.
