Audi Warranty Service
My reason for changing from Saab to Audi was the advantage of local warranty service through Volkswagon. Medford Oregon has no Saab or Audi dealer.
Suddenly, Audi has discontinued VW dealer warranty service for Audi.
Anyone know why?
Makes trading my '01 A6 4.2 for a new A8 look doubtful at best.

You *may* be able to do it through an independent shop.
I'd to check with AoA and see what your options are. Especially if your nearest service options are quite a ways away from where you live.
