I made the offer knowing I'm NOT chipped, and even so my objective is to show that the turbo lag is minimal at best. And I don't believe a chip even reduces turbo lag. I just think the one you drove may have had a problem and I want to give you the chance to see how a stock 2.7T behaves. I'll contact you when the timing is good to meet, it'll be fun!
