Avant Owners --- I cannot get my rear hatch to stay closed! The locking mechanism is not catching?

Default Sorry, DB. No latch problems here. My issue is with the 2 rear door lifters. The are starting . .
to give way to the weight of the door.

Yours is worse. It's harder to drive with hatch open......

DoubleB: Try some white lithium grease (spray can) or WD-40 - both at HDepot. Good luck!

Default spoke to Audi Tech, says that the door "striker" in hatch can go out of alignment....
I have tried to lube, but nothing...I am taking it in tomoroow for a warranty replacement on the rear washer pump so I will get them to fix it.

Thanks for all the advice.

You can see it swirling up! I am convinced that the LL TEK mid=spoiler would solve this...if you like the styling. Might try it.
