avg mpg on 2.7T tip owners only?....
just wanted to see what other 2.7T tip owners are getting for mpg. i have a 2000 2.7T tip and it gets around 12mpg...factory claims 19/24...i wish i could get 19(even on highway)...is it just me and i have a lead foot or it that about the same as everyone else?

self-reports at 22.9, mostly freeway..
.. but I measured it a couple times and think the real figure is about 21. Unless you're really tearing it up or mostly doing short fast trips around town I'd say you're running a wee bit rich.

I must be an old bugger!
But I'm only 24. Just driving around and to my girlfriend's house across town I get 21, and on the interstate I get 25 mpg. Then again, I live in Nebraska where it's a bit flat. I've noticed the best mpg is around 60 mph, and then drops freakin' exponentially when speeds get to 75+. I'm guessing it has something to do with the hole in the air I'm punchin'.
I found after a brief stint on the Kansas turnpike at 100 the mpg thingy was reading 18.5 on the flats. I love empty states.
Maybe my car just likes me. I dunno. This is all with APR 91 running.

Deja vu (I remember answering this question before :) .... 19.0 MPG avg per my Audi's info screen
This is based on the whopping 2200 miles on my car, with an average speed of 35 MPH. (Poor underutilized baby .... I need to get her MPH number UP!)
