Battery gets run down.
I had my 10K service about a month ago. Two weeks ago, my car wouldn't start. The dealer replaced the battery. Yesterday, the car wouldn't start again! So, now it's time to find out what is draining the battery.
I noticed yesterday that the driver seat heater not set to 0. Guess what? At the 10K service, I had the driver seat lumbar engine replaced. Coincidence or not? Could there be a wiring problem where the seat heater drains the battery?
In any case, if there is any common problem where the battery drains, let me know. I am going to try to get the car to the dealer tomorrow.

Never had that happen, but it is possible. There is a sensor that is suppose to turn off the heater
if there is no weight on the seat. 30 lbs I believe. If that were screwed up, I guess the seat could stay on.

No weight sensor in front seats for at least 2001 and earlier. In any case, all seat heaters should
switch off with the ignition off. It could very well be a short in any number of circuits in and around the seat though.

This happened several times on my 2000 2.7t.
Turned out to be the radiator cooling fan and sensor. At first they replaced the battery, just like with you, but after the second incedent the tech got out an amp meter and tracked it down. I had heard of this problem quite a few times on this forum, a year and a half or so ago, but not recently.
