Is it better to drive w/ the N75 unplugged, or overboost?
I've been having this overboost issue for about two weeks. AWE has ordered me an N75 as of 4 days ago, but I'm waiting for time to install. I'm prob. gonna pick it up tomorow night and throw it in myself. With the N75 unpluged the car doesn't go over 8psi, instead of 30+. Just wondering if I would throw a CEL or any other issue. I figure it's better than overboosting. Thoughts?

So what you're getting is the pure mechanical action of the wastegates with the N75 unplugged.
I'd say this is the safest situation for your turbos since at 30+ it sounds like your N75 is keeping your wastegates closed.
I think you'll throw a code (maybe CEL) for negative deviation, but that's not a big deal.
Hey, what kind of suspension are you on? I was curious, but I may have missed it in your sig.

I guess...I'm just jealous of everyone's low rides.
Plus I have a ton of mileage and I feel the shocks going. I don't know how long the life span is for them, but I think I'm close. A new sport set will likely be the way I go. Maybe some Koni's though...
