Bit the bullet...bought at lease end...good deal
AoA made me an offer I couldn't refuse; 1.9%/0 down rate, a $2K rebate (could have been $3K if I paid cash), and cancelled the final lease pmt. However, AFS offers NO extended warranty, so now I'm shopping for one.

Did you consider the alternative (if not too late)?
Have your dealer buy the car from Audi Finance and "certify" it for sale to you on pre-arranged payment terms. This way you get the "assured" warranty.

You're limited in CA
most of the online companies don't do business here. One company I found when I was looking is Mercury, in addition to all the various insurances they sell extended warranties.
Check your yellow pages, as they say, Mercury is sold through independent insurance agents. Turned out my company's credit union also sold them.

Just called my agent, actually (Merc has my home and auto)...seem competitve for my S4....
...though I have low miles. 6 year/60K is $980.00, with $50.00 ded. Take it anywhere, with almost all systems covered. May have to bite.

Its just another warranty company...no Audi backing
Call the number and you get Fidelity not AoA or AFS. Haven't found any local dealers that sell it either.
