Default Brake advice needed for a 2000 A6 4.2

My 2000 A6 4.2 (not sport pkg.) needs new front pads (indicator is on). I have the 22mm offset rotors (in pretty good shape with about 15K miles) and Lucas calipers that take the 8 pad sets. The existing pads that lasted about 15K miles were Jurid pads that shed dust like crazy. I'd like to find new pads that offer decent braking performance with minimal dust. The car is driven almost exclusively around town and is not driven hard. I'm leaning toward keeping my stock rotors and installing EBC Redstuff ceramic pads. I'm willing to swap the rotors out, too, if people think it'll improve the overall braking performance. What are people's thoughts? Redstuff or some other pads? Keep my existing rotors, or if not, what rotors should I get? Where's the best place to buy brake parts? Anybody dealt with buybrakes.com? TIA!

Default I don't think you'd want red stuff unless you're tracking the car.

they take awhile to warm up and don't brake as good until they're warm. the green stuff put out more dust than the red, but it's less than OEM and I don't have to worry about warming them up. I'd definitely recommend them for road use, the yellow and red more for track. just make sure you get some of the anti-squeal goop for behind them, as they can squeak a bit without (I hear mine about once a month with, and only when the dust is bad)

Default This was the lowest price outfit that I found-

www.autopartswarehouse.com
I also have the 8 pad calipers and purchased Zimmerman rotors. Put them on app. 3 weeks ago...no problems. Didn't buy the pads from them since I already had a set.

Default I just switched to AKebono Euro pads. I really like them now that pads

are bedding into existing rotors and bite is increasing. Almost NO dust, no noise. More pedal pressure required than stock, but it's very linear.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR4&amp;url=%2Fbrakes%2Fresults.jsp%3Fauto Make%3DAudi%26amp%3BautoModel%3DA6%2B4.2%26amp%3Ba utoYear%3D2000%26amp%3BautoModClar%3D%26amp%3Bbran d%3DAkebono">Link to tirerack.com</a></li></ul>

My Metal Master pads have a good bite/low dust. They squeak when cold though : (

Ended up going with EBC Yellow Stuff and EBC Sport rotors (slotted, dimpled). So far, so good!
