Brakes and oil q's..
Did a search for oils and didn't find anything, maybe i wasn't trying hard enough. Anywho, oil change time, i want to use synthetic and will be supplying it but dealer will do labor, was wondering what type to use. Also, what are good brakepads for the street? Thanks again.

A search on these 2 subjects turned up nothing? They are
perhaps among the top 3-4 all-time/continuing/on-going topics on this forum. Only CL's mods and BD's wheels get more discussion.
OILs: Fully-synthetic are a "must" for turbo engines. Not all "synthetics" are equal, but how far you want to go to use the "best" is up to you (and your wallet). The leaders for "good to best" (NOT "most used" or "popular") are (all synthetic): Mobil 1 0W-40 (european formula), Castrol (green/european) 0W-40, Amsol and Redline. I use Redline 5W-30 year-round for the relatively mild Pacific Northwest, even for the extensive amount of time my car spends in winter mountain conditions. I also track/autocross.
I'm sure one or two other opinions will surface.
BRAKE PADS: What brakes do you have? Stock? What model Audi? Perhaps even more opinions than oils! There is no "low-dust/low-cost/no-noise/never-wears-out/street and/or track" pad.
There is a BRAKES forum that may help you on this subject.
Have fun,

Miltek and Supersprint make systems for the 4.2. Also,
the RS6 sport exhaust will fit. Several owners have done "custom" exhausts at any good exhaust specialty shops...often for a lot less $$$ than the after-market ones.
