Braking issue
I have read many threads on possible bent rotors and hard braking symptoms. He's my observation; Never really noticed the rubbing when braking hard before. Then, when my ABS "kicked" in I now get load rubbing when hard braking. No performance degradation noted in spite of this "noise." Any comments?
A mechanic told me that the rotor must get very hot (300 to 500 degrees) before it can get warped.
Other than this car is awesome! with about 5k miles.

I CAN'T SAY THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM, BUT I JUST HAD THE ROTORS REPLACED ON MY 8,000 MILE SERVICE. IT SEEMS THERE WERE A FEW ON THE FORUM TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM BETWEEN 2,000 AND 8,000 MILES.
