Well needless to say after having the car in the city almost everyday plays havok on the bumpers. Ive been looking around and it seems that any body shop will charge around 300-500 to do the bumpers. Just remembered my best friend's dad buys wrecked car at auctions and redoes them, also doing the paiting. I do a lot for my friend with powdercoated and fixing up his 4 wheeler for him so im return they are going to do my bumpers for me! Cant wait! Also my new navigation system is comming this tuesday!

My wifes silver 03 avant is in the body shop now fixing her 'park by ear' scrapes on the rear bumper cover. Body shop quote me $750, which seems really steep. fortunately her 'park in any spot if you can wedge the car in regardless of what car is on either side of you' theory has not resulted in any body dings. I should just buy her an outback or something like that. She has my spotless 4.2 all week, and I'm just praying......

gotta love women drivers! My brother in law just bought a 05 a6 and part of the deal was my sister gets to drive it when he is on business. At the time he was fine just so he could get the car, but now that his spain trip is this week he keeps thinking of excuses why she shouldnt drive it, its so funny.

my wife drives my car every now and then...but I have convinced her to park A W A Y from everyone....she normally drives a Suburban...so she is used to having to park on the "other side of the world"...

I'm in China this week (marvelling at the 1.8T and 2.4 A6's), and got an email from my neighboor. He reported that he saw my wife roaring and screetching around the neighboorhood in my 4.2. She's actually one of the few women who uses the tip, and knows how to drive fast. At this point, I have everything crossed.
