After spending the last few years renovating the house, we finally had time to start visiting the track. It's probably the last hurrah for the blue car you see here, and next time it will be either a primered or orange and white race car (Milano).

One the way to the event as well as returning, we encountered plenty of hot rods in various states of repair. Provided some great scenery. Must have been a show in San Louis Obispo.

Hubby took second in class, behind his brother, who proved impossibly talented despite have a broken alternator on day one and spinning out spectacularly during practice on day two, which cut into his practice time. Next time my turn :-)

 

We also has garage #1, which it looks like you had as well. Good times!

 

Nice...What state do you live in? Do you go to Alfa events in Washington ever?

 

We're in Cali. The Northwest Alfa club is reasonably active, but I haven't attended a track event.
