Default BWA HA HA, Dealer quoted $980 to install Eibach springs and that did not include alignment!

Sure, and I have a few bridges for sale too.

Dealer prices:
$335 for springs
$980 install
$140 alignment

I am the carbonLORD not the carbonSUCKER.

I priced Eibach Pro Kit for $240 at Shox.com and $140 for the alignment is reasonable, but I'll be damed if I'm going to pay nearly $1K to put them on, hell, I'd put them on myself and have them fine tuned before I throw away a grand.

Will be calling indi shops later.

What did you pay?

Default Did they give you any detail on how that got to $980? At $70/hr for labor that's 14hrs - no way it

takes that long to install. Did you look into a local tuner?

Default Email AoA to get their take on it and bring that back to your dealer - it is a OEM part....

Dealer suck for the most part !!

I paid about 350 w/ alignment IIRC...

best of luck

Default My local indy estimates 4 hours @ $75/hr. + $70 for alignment.

Using those numbers, I'll be at around $400 total for labor & alignment. Numbers don't change whether or not they also install new shocks.

Shox.com has best deal for parts...$235 for Pro Kit, $699 for Pro System. (Plus tax and shipping, of course.)

Default Sorry...I meant "indy" as "independent", not "Indianapolis".

I'm in northern California.

Default I had to shop around. Some places here very high, others more reasonable.

Can't really tell if there's a direct relationship between how much the charge and the quality of their work.
