Default C5 HID Wiring Gurus.....
I am replacing a dead Valeo ballast (second one!) in a B5 S4 with a Hella ballast from a C5 A6. For the power leads, I am assuming that the OEM C5 color codes are Brown = Ground and Yellow = 12v. Can a C5 Guru confirm this for me?

Brown = ground
Yellow = low beam (+)
White = high beam (+)

B5 and C5 use completely different ballast designs. Warm up the Dremel...

Default Too funny! I was just searching for how to do this! I'm doing the same exact thing!
Thank God I saved the Hella ballasts(and pretty much everything else insode the busted up housings) so I could do this!
