Default C5 RS6 f/r sway bars fit on a C5 A6?

Will the stock sway bars from a 2003 RS6 install on a C5 A6 without needs for mods? This is an Avant, so I'm also curious if the North American spec RS6 sway bars are the same spec as the sways on Euro RS6 Avants. Anyone know? Quick response appreciated while I search the archives a second time

Default Assume they are larger diameter

& would require different bushings where they mount to the body. This was the case with a B5 and S4 bar swap I tried recently. 2mm diam. difference in that case - if memory serves.

I e-mailed the guy with the ad this morning inquiring about the dimensions - no reply yet.

Default Rear sway on the RS6 is 20mm stock, which is thicker than the OEM sport for the A6...

...but the H-sports are still thicker and stiffer for cornering.

Default TJ: What are the specs (diameters) of the stock non-sport bars vs. H-sports?

That came up this weekend at a driving event and I didn't know the answer; double bogey for a car geek. :P

Man it's so hard to follow threads here, but hey Boston driver? I see you at the zine now and then... How do I know if my A6 has sport sway bars or not? I know it came with the OEM sports suspension (slightly lowered)

This place is nuts...!!!
