I disagree
The C6 A6's exterior and interior is leaps and bounds above the C5 A6's exterior and interior. OTOH, the E39 5 Series' exterior and interior is leaps and bounds above the E60 5 Series' exterior and interior.

It's comparable in most respects...
But the C5 interior was almost flawless. The C6 has a few areas where the execution didn't hit my expectations. I don't mind new but there were a few spots on the interior of the C6 that could have been done better. Granted there are a few points on the interior that are better. The center console is one of those.

To each their own I suppose. After spending considerable time in the C6.....
then jumping back in my car, I felt my car to seem very plain and lacking.
Same way I feel when I jump out of an A8 and back in to my car.
