Thank you, I didn't think about NOT being able to rotate it clockwise, makes sense now. I guess the fact that it move at all REALLY surprised me, so I just figured it would go ahead and move all the way around clockwise since it move maybe a 1/4 turn to begin with. The funny thing is it really didn't require a lot of effort for it to move when using the puller tool. I wasn't going crazy cranking the puller tool when it just jumped. Is there any way to prevent that from happening next time. Or is it common and one just moves it back in to position ?

If you don't mind....I'm replacing the cam seals too since I'm in the neighborhood. The cam ends are in pretty rough shape texture wise and it looks like it will be a real booger getting the old ones out and the new ones in with the cam ends being in such rough shape. Any suggestion on how to clean them up ? I thought they would be nice and clean being protected and all from the hard plastic shroud, but they are NOT ! It's a caked on surface / texture. Not smooth at ALL.
