Central Locking Module
Hey guys I'm in need of a few tips for a project I'm about to tackle so here goes...
I picked up this 2001 a6 2.7t for a good price (540$) the only problems it has was that the AC did not work and he has suspected from his own research that the module under the drivers side floor had died, as a result of that the windows and sunroof do not function, the interior lights do not work and the keyless entry as well. At the time I had the same year make model Audi A6 2.7t with a working module but the engine was junk, I stripped the broken Audi of useful parts including the module, after my own investigation I found the module to be flooded with corrosion on the motherboard and the wire connectors. Despite cleaning the connectors in vinegar the new module didn't function, I should also add that the modules have the save exact numbers and ending letter on them from the same year and model. I took the connectors off the old Audi and spliced then all in but I didn't even realize as I was doing it that the wires in the car were not shiny copper a lot were dark colored, needless to say the module still doesn't work. I want to buy a harness for it but I don't know where to buy one and I also want to know how far back to trace these wires until they are shiny solid copper again. It's summer now and without my ac or window I'm dying lol I appreciate any help guys thank you.

The obdeleven adapter will not communicate with the central locking module at all. It will only work with the engine control module, and only in a limited capacity.
You will need the VCDS cable and software to communicate with that module.
