Clear code, or not to clear code

I just put in an CELiminator, from Vast. Will my CEL clear itself? the only existing code is for the main catalyst fault. Id rather it clear itself to get emmissions done quicker, if that is the way it works other than clear all codes and complete drive cycle before being able to DEQ.

Clear the codes so it can set the readiness.. 02 codes don't tend to clear themselves.

So I just had the cel come back on. guess its time to replace the cat :/

Or something. What code(s) are you seeing?
If just cat, can you force readiness on everything else and get through emissions that way?

pre cat o2's are brand new.

bank 1 main catalyst fault code : 16806 - Main Catalyst; Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0422 - 35-00 - -
only code by the way.

And the rediness button is shadowed out. no option to set rediness..??

Not sure why. i put the fouler on the bank 1 post cat sensor. cel came back, I cleared codes an hour ago, waiting for drive cycle to complete - see if it comes back. Any other ideas?
