clunk from rear of car...
not when going over harsh bumps, but when car is going over gentle bumps in road and car is "recovering" from the uneven terrain...sounds like something loose, more of a muffled clunk than a rattle.
Not my golf clubs, and nothing else loose in the trunk causing this (although I have to double check the spare).
What are the possible causes? Tie rod end? Blown shock? Control arm?
I would STFA, but I get a border manager alert when searching archives. At least I can still post!
TIA for your help!!! GO SOX!!!

Heard similar sound in my brother in law's Volvo last weekend-it was the spare. Maybe you'll get
lucky and that will be your issue also? (especially considering how often you change wheels...) ;-)
