Converting to diesel?

I don't know about in Arizona, but in Texas, diesel engines (vehicles?) produced prior to 2007 are exempt from emissions testing.
Not to say earlier diesels are permanently grandfathered and it won't be subject to emissions testing someday, but if it ever happens, you can do the usual deal with OBD readiness just like you do with your gasser engine and they probably won't know any different.

yeah thats not going to work then.... ****s more legit here in arizona then texas when it comes to emissions tests, they cross reference the vin and if it was not diesel originally i feel they will DQ it, I miss texas some days... mostly the low cost registration!
