Could a faulty HID Ballast cause one HID bulb to burn at a diffrent rate than another?

Could this explain why one of my bulbs is a diffrent color than the other?

or omsebody replaced them before you got the car?

I replaced the bulbs back in Jan for teh same problem

happend to me, replaced bulbs twice in a short period, havnt had problems since been about a year...
