Default No bullets here...I just switchted my new (to us) '02 S6 to Amsoil 5w-40 Euro...

Wanted the best for my ride...

2.8 here, always used M1 15/50, hot climate, lotsa stop and go. No problems

Default Amsoil promotes their 5W40 as meeting this standard, but I don't think it's been...

... independently verified/certified. So there is a risk. I use the 5W40.

Um, that is for diesel engines only it WILL harm your 2.7
