Drivers door wont open
Hi all,
I have a 2001 a6 2.5tdi quattro avant.
I've been having problems with both doors not closing properly,as in you close the door but it will not shut fully (interior lights stay on) ,they shut once you push them closed.
Now the drivers door has closed but I cannot reopen it.pulling the handles or operating the central locking won't open it. I think the problem is with the locking mechanism being stuck in deadbolt mode and just wondering has anyone else had the same problem?
How will I open the door and what part of the lock mechanism do I have to fix. Please don't tell me I have to cut the latch off.
