Default Drivers door won't shut & a couple of Vag-codes

My drivers door is only closing onto the latch and not shutting properly, I did a scan with vag-com tonight and it came up with the following codes.

Address 35 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 4B0 962 258 H
Component: Central Lock/Alarm D33
Coding: 04810
Shop #: WSC 02325
3 Faults Found:
01562 - Right Rear Door
59-10 - Can't Unlock - Intermittent
01559 - Drivers Door
60-00 - Won't Safe
01562 - Right Rear Door
61-10 - Won't De-Safe - Intermittent

This morning was the first time it has happened. Anyone any ideas

New latch, or maybe lube it. That failure is mechanical.

Default Lube it. The door latch is 100% mechanical. either the cable is binding, or the latch itself..

There's a small sliding bar in the latch that does tend to get gummed up, and cold weather makes it worse.

Depending where you live, cold & heavy spray grease do not get along, will make it worse in the cold. If it has been lubed with a heavy oil or spray grease, flush mechanism clean with WD-40 or similar. Then use a sparay graphite to lubricate.
