Big repair project
If you pull the dash and inspect the amount of wires burned in the local area you could re-splice sections with solder and shrink wrap, 500 plus bucks and a lot of time is possible if you have the time.
One other problem that might of occurred is cross wire shorting to other vital modules that interface with the cluster, here's another gamble after the repair.
