Can anyone help with the possible diagnosis of some electrical gremlins? This is a 1998 A6 Quattro.

The following stopped working yesterday, and have caused some consternation:

1. No headlights (though the high beams work when the stalk pulled up).
2. No turn signals.
3. No wipers.
4. No A.C. fan (though the dashboard display clearly shows the fan display moving up and down when the + or -is selected).
5. No windshield defrost fan when switched.

Who know what else might be wrong!!!! Does anyone have an educated guess what might be causing these failures?

Bad ignition switch. Jiggle the key to get them working until you get it fixed!!

Same thing happened -nothing worked so I turned the car off then back on and noticed the headlights came on upon startup so I would always have to remember to turn the key back a little to get everything working - What a Pain! Be careful as until the key locks the starter protect feature does not work (not a good sound!)
