Default EPC issues

Hey guys, so recently I've had some issues with my 2002 A6 2.7T' EPC light coming on and getting a code for throttle/pedal position sensor bank b. I thought it was the sensor on the pedal and replaced that yesterday and it was working good for the whole rest of the day and then this morning the issue came back, it's causing me to lose all throttle response and a rough idle and is making the vehicle very difficult to drive.
Any ideas on what could be the issue?

I'm using my Launch Scanner, don't have a dedicated VAG. It's pulling a P0223 code

You may have a broken wire or bad connection. It would help to have a VAG scanner to monitor the measuring blocks involved. I recommend VCDS.

On further searching, the P0223 code is for the throttle body (the piece on the engine), not for the accelerator pedal. The throttle body is J338.

My only other concern is that my Scanner is showing me that all of my CAN lines fail for proper connection and I'm worried that if I get VCDS hooked up it won't be able to read properly.

You can only run one high speed CAN protocol at a time, so ignore the fails.

Ok, I'll look into getting a cable for myself but will probably use someone else's for the moment. Hopefully it's just the TB and not faulty wiring because then it's going to be a nightmare tracking it down.
