First height adjustment with the H&R Coilovers (and a funny pic I made) LONG

wd40 may not be the best long term solution....
for corrosion. it works fine for water dispersion but long term will not do much to reduce corrosion from daily exposure to air/salt/water.
i'd suggest beoshieled t-9 for better long term protection. works great for most chro-moly steels and leaves a more protective layer than wd40.
just a suggestion, but i have heard others bemoan the h&rs for this trait, and given the investment...finding this product is worth it. early treatment with this stuff will reduce corrosion and may add life to the setup.
cheers

Good deal. When I asked about long term durability, I was told....
....to just maintain the threads in the same manner I maintain the cleanliness of the inside of my wheels, which is about 3 times a year and would suffice. I will try the product when I remove everything for the possible rotor upgade. Otherwise in May when I clean and wax the inside of the wheels. Thanks for the advice.

question about stainless....
i have a bike make from 304 stainless steel, which i'm told is ligher/stronger/more corrosion resistant than typical highend c-moly steels.
it is more expensive to use and requires specific brazing techniques...but is also used in aircraft manufacture because of the high modulus of elasticity/weight factor...or corrosion resistance... something like "aerotube 304"?
ever heard of it? seems like this would be good material for shocks but cost 4-6 times as much for raw materials.
cheers

What is the actual heights for 4.2 non-sport with 255/40/17 wheels. You used to have a picture of it right after your coil-over installation!

Hi CL,
The S6 upper and lower grilles on your sig are photoshopped, right? Do you have a real photo of the S6 upper and lower grilles on your car? Can you please post them? Thanks.
