access the battery, remove the caps over the holes, and add distilled water. Having a flashlight
helps you see the water level-Leave it about a half-inch below the top of the holes.

removed stickers, the cover that goes across will not come off
I'm to a point where i physically damaged the cover(more cosmetic than physical actually)
the cover goes all the way across the battery right?
I'm going to take a picture of it

You will see a gap between the battery cell cover..
and the battery itself. A small screw driver on the front and back or left and right side ..pry gently together and it will rise.

What you want is to go to Autozone...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/63674/bat_1.jpg"></center><p>and for free they will test the battery. You can also check the date of install of the battery as it carries its own pro-rated warranty.
To open it up pry around the edge of each cover. Wher I marked your shot in red.

is it so difficult to pry it open? because i'm damaging the cover as you can see..right where you have it marked at the terminal.
test results are in the previous post<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/552459.phtml">Link to old post with test results</a></li></ul>

thats funny...if i could only prop it open....
the thing is that the test showed good battery
how reliable the test is?who knows
the indicator (green dot on top of battery) is nowhere to be seen.what does it indicate? low fluid, low charge, not good battery? it's all fun

indicates the battery is not holding a charge.
There are many reasons for this. 1 of whic is as simple as you cables are dirty or not tight enough. So you can't get the car started nor can it recharge completly.
Check the terminals.
