I'm 99% sure they were not sold here in the US....quattro Quarterly had an article on one that

was built in the New York city area from an RS6 where they cut the back off and welded in the Avant body....it was silver or grey as I recall...

They were definitely NOT sold here by Audi. And that NY chop-shop deal is NOT a legit RS6 Avant.
